Second day after receiving my ASUS Zenbook UX305LA 13.3-Inch Laptop and I am really loving it. I was very nervous at first, after reading some of the negative comments regarding the product, but was definitely relieved when I actually opened the box. Everything looked great, the laptop came wrapped up in the usual protective plastic sleeves, and everything was included inside the box (charger and a screen cleaner). Opening the laptop I was hoping for a firm hinge (due to some reviews saying the screen is flimsy) but it definitely wasn't. It opened and closed with ease!! The laptop very closely resembles the MacBook Air without having a lit-up keyboard, but honestly the screen is bright enough for you to see the markings of the keys if you were to be using your laptop in the dark. The design is very sleek and overall the laptop is really light!

So the first night of having the ASUS Zenbook UX305LA 13.3-Inch Laptop, I spent most of my time installing compilers and programs I needed like, Office365, iTunes, and some random programs. I was installing multiple programs at the same time, and man must I say, the thing ran like a champ. You could start hearing the fan, but it was getting any louder than it already was. I was doing online homework and surfing at the same time as well, and I still didn't get any lag. As far as Wi-Fi goes, I have not experienced any problems and from what I remember, Windows 10 had a lot of problems with Wi-Fi connectivity in its early release. I've been using my laptop (even as I'm writing this review) for about 5 hours now and all Internet connections have been smooth. Also the laptop has been off the charger since 5 hours ago and the battery is around 60%. For a small laptop, it has some juice!

Conclusion: All in all, I am really happy with my purchase. For the price that it is, the ASUS Zenbook UX305LA 13.3-Inch Laptop is definitely a great model to look into, if you are looking for a laptop that is lightweight and sleek. It basically is a resemblance of the MacBook Air, but more affordable. Also the speakers on it are pretty loud for being a smaller device

- no light up keyboard (for those who consider it a dealbreaker, but it truly isn't)
- touchpad is a bit slow at first, but after configuring it to your liking, it's not bad
- display is a bit green at first but if you go to Color Calibration for the display settings, just change the green down -2 notches.
